Creative compatriots Michael Cammarata (Residuels) and Chris Radwanski (having worked together in Night Panther, White Birds and Suburban Living) continue their collaborative endeavors, forming a new record label Born Losers Records. Later this week, Residuels set out on a stretch of West Coast tour dates supporting The Buzzcocks. Meanwhile, the label’s inaugural release, a 7” of the band’s new single “Ordinary,” can be purchased HERE, and will be officially released on Friday, May 13. Listen to the single below, and catch Residuels as they cap off their tour with a dual release show with Louie Louie on Friday, June 3 at Boot & Saddle (which will also be opened by Weekender). 

Electro-pop outfit Night Panther officially announced its breakup in November 2014, but as most of us should know by now with the recent return of LCD Soundsystem and Guns N' Roses, the end isn't always the end when it comes to a band's life. We received an email this morning that the group's first single in almost two years, "Devotion," is now available for streaming and download. There is also an EP scheduled for release on May 1, entitled P I N K & B L A C K. Niiiiice!

Unfortunately, we already knew this for months now, but Night Panther just officially announced that they have broken up. ("G'night everyone, Night Panther is no longer. Please enjoy our final EP... You may hear hints of synth master Thomas Dolby in this late summer groove. Night Panther will be performing next week at Spruce Street Harbor Park on Thursday, August 21 with Pattern is Movement.

Grrrr... sex-pop outfit Night Panther returns from their isolation at Miner Street Recordings with a new uplifting track called "Mountain," which you can stream and download for free below. The band recently celebrated lead singer Farzad Houshiarnejad's birthday with a performance at MOMs in Doylestown, PA. They'll also be joining the annual Caravan Music Fest in August. Expect more new music to come!
