Philly's own Don't Stop Now series just shared its second compilation in time for this oh so important Election Day. "Let it serve as a reminder that the fight for justice is not over, that the celebration of diversity is essential to progress, that we must work together for what is fair and good." Stacked mostly with kick-ass local artists like Tom May (The Menzingers), Cherry, Augusta Koch (Cayetana), No Thank You, SOUL GLO, Greg Mendez, and many, many more covering beloved artists (Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Fugazi, The Beastie Boys, Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams, Sharon Van Etten, etc.), you now have plenty of entertainment on your way to the voting booth. All proceeds from the compilation will be donated to RAICES (Refugee & Immigrant Center for Education & Legal Services), "a nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in Texas."

All It Takes To Ruin It All, the new album from Philly power trio No Thank You, is officially out today via Lame-O Records. Consistently pushing forward in tight springs of momentum, the album maintains a deeply personal connection with its narrative. Working through a range of emotions including grief, a palpable sensitivity flourishes. The band will be celebrating the album's arrival this evening at Kung Fu Necktie, supported by Narra and Tact.

All It Takes To Ruin It All, the forthcoming album from No Thank You, will released on April 6 via Lame-O Records. The trio recently shared the album’s lead single, “Cubic Zirconia”. A rhythmic climb gathers steam as Kaytee Della Monica expresses a sensitive awareness in the face grief. The insight into the flurry of emotion that follows loss is surrounded by an instrumental drive, providing a concise, episodic window. This Sunday, a congregation heads to the First Unitarian Church, celebrating the bounty of beautiful music that local imprint Lame-O Records has curated in its first 5 years. Jake Ewald’s Slaughter Beach, Dog creates a sense of melodic ease, whilst working through the humbling hurdles of day-to-day living, via thoughtful perspectives. Cutting directly to the core of emotions with songwriting spun out of sincerity, Shannen Moser establishes an inviting folk proximity, drawing one in with blankets of relatable harmonies that ache and simultaneously provide room to breathe and process. Fuzzily rekindling mementos of the past with a clean-slated set of eyes, Cherry is freshly familiar, while No Thank You brings the tangle of guttural pensions to the surface, demonstrating a cathartic grit.
