Deep Freeze Festival

Epitonic's Deep Freeze Festival kicks off one week from today, Jan 31st and Feb. 1st. Spanning three venue around Wicker Park, Subterranean, Double Door, and Public Work's Gallery, the event will include performance by some of the best up and coming bands from around the city while mixing in an element of comedy. You can find the full line up here, but some of the band's you will find are Meat Wave, Chandeliers, Secret Colours, Wedding Dress, Carbon Tigers, Pillars & Tongues, and many more.





Pillars & Tongues "Knifelike"

Earlier this month we announced that Pillars & Tongues would be releasing their new album, End-Dances (Empty Cellar Records), on Sept. 17th and shared the video for their track "Dogs".

Now we have the a new track from the album, "Knifelike".

Pillars & Tongues will be performing at The Chicago Cultural Center on Sept. 20th and at The Burlington on Oct. 12th.

Pillars & Tongues "End-dances"

Pillars & Tongues have announced that their new album, End-dances, will be released via Empty Cellar Records on September 17th. The trio will be touring this fall with the amazing Angel Olsen.

New Pillars & Tongues

Red Frost Industries released the latest from Pillars & Tongues, If Travel is Asked of Me, last week on Cassette and digitally. The release features tracks from the band's last two singles, "Oaky (doting, in late summer)" and "(Laid) Palms to Tell", but with some new takes on it all. The cassette is only $3.
