Musicians Corner Announces Spring Schedule

Now that the weather seems to be warming up and the mud is turning back into dirt, Musicians Corner have announced their spring schedule. Taking place in Centennial Park and beginning May 4th, food trucks and music will take over the lawn in the park every Saturday afternoon throughout the duration of May and June.

As of now, Ruby Amanfu, Ravello, The Kingston Springs, The Delta Saints, Alanna Royale, Matt Wertz, and more are scheduled to fill your (hopefully!) sunny Saturdays with an excuse to attempt a tan while supporting local music. Additionally, the event is free.

If you'd like to get a head start on planning your weekends, the full schedule can be found here.

Road To Bonnaroo: Round Two

Tonight Road To Bonnaroo returns to the Mercy Lounge with round two of their three-round competition that will send three local acts to-- you guessed it-- Bonnaroo this summer. Alanna Royale beat out the competition in the first installment, and tonight eight new acts will take the stage to perform for their chance to be the round two champions. The lineup includes:

Andrew Combs
Blackfoot Gypsies
Hanzelle
Little Bandit
Ranch Ghost
Ravello
Shannon LaBrie
Vinyl Thief

Doors are at 9, and entry is free, but the venue will fill up fast, so get in line early (and bring a coat) so you can cast your vote at the end of the night for your favorite band.

Mercy Lounge Announces Lineup for 10th Anniversary Party

Next Friday and Saturday nights, on January 11th and 12th, Mercy Lounge will celebrate its 10th birthday in true Cannery Row fashion, throwing a party that will span all three venues. On Friday night, you can catch JEFF the Brotherhood, Tristen, Wild Cub, and RiCHiE, and on Saturday, performers will include Cherub, Ravello, The Weeks, and Machines Are People Too. With three stages to fill, more performers will be announced within the coming week via Twitter and Facebook.

If you're broke or just the type to arrive empty handed at parties, Mercy Lounge has your cover covered. On both nights, the first 250 people through the door will get in for free. After that, tickets are $10 for one night or $15 for both and can be purchased here (for night one), here (for night two), or at Grimey's New and Preloved Music, The Groove Record Shop, and Parlour & Juke Salon.

In addition to the full bars in Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, and the High Watt, both shows are presented in part by Yuengling and Brooklyn Brewery.

East Nashville Underground Announces Fall Lineup

On November 16th and 17th, East Nashville Underground will once again take over The East Room, their staple venue over on Gallatin, to bring us a weekend full of rock and booze. Hosting one of their most solid lineups to date, the same ENU rules apply: lots of alcohol with the purchase of a wristband, all-you-can-eat hot dogs if you show up in a t-shirt from a previous season, and unlimited rock all weekend long, as seen in the lineup:

November 16th: Feedback Revival, Caleb Owens, Thee Japanese Schoolgirls, The Bridges, Wild Cub (headliner), Heypenny (headliner), DJ KDSML

November 17th: Buffalo Clover, Heavy Sole, Sol Cat, Billy Swayze, Kansas Bible Co. (album release), Ravello, DJ Jazzy Jazz (Brandon Jazz)

You can find all of the festival details-- including where and how to get your wristbands-- over on the official event page.
