Sun Speak "Daliah Orbits"

Sun Speak recently released their latest single, "Daliah Orbits", from their forthcoming album, Trance, which is due out on Friday, November 19th, via Flood Music.

This is primarily the work of the duo of Matt Gold (guitar, bass) and Nate Friedman (drums). For this release, their fifth, they were joined by engineer Dan Pierson on Wurlitzer and analog synthesizer and captured backing vocals from Yoon Sun Choi and Vinnie Sperrazza on two tracks.

Pedway "The Infrared"

Pedway recently released the second single, "The Infrared", from their forthcoming LP, Vitalic, which is set to be released on November 2nd via ears&eyes.

This is the expiremental jazz trio of Caroline Davis (alto saxophone), Matthew Golombisky (electric bass), and Quin Kirchner (drums).

This is the first new music from the trio since 2013's Passion Ball, and the project was culled from 3 hours of live material recorded at The Whistler and Cafe Mustache in 2017. Unfortunately, this was the last time the trio, who know live in three very different areas of the world, performed together.

Outrun the Sunlight "Emerald Joy"

Instrumental Prog Rock quintet Outrun the Sunlight has released the second single, "Emerald Joy", from their forthcoming album, A Vast Field of Silence, which is due out on November 12th.

This is the project of Austin Peters (guitar), Cody McCarty (guitar), Phil Kalas (bass), Kyle Kunkler (synths & keys), and Luke Angle (drums)

Ben LaMar Gay “Mestre Candeia’s Denim Hat”

Composer, singer and improviser Ben LaMar Gay has shared the video for the third single, “Mestre Candeia’s Denim Hat”, from his forthcoming album, Open Arms to Open Us, which due out on November 19th via International Anthem / Nonesuch Records.

The video was created by Andrea Rodea and Erik Mares, and is just as beautifully chaotic as the Gay's looping and wandering track.

Daniel Wyche "The Elephant Whale II"

Guitarist and Composer Daniel Wyche has released the second single, "The Elephant Whale II", from his forthcoming album, Earthwork, which is due out on November 12th via American Dreams.

For this track, Wyche utilized a guitar riff that he came up with in High School to tackle current moments of loss and upheaval.

The entire project plays with memory and the passage of time as in the album's first single, "This Was Home (Single Edit)", below.
