Hardcore band Buggin Out has released a self-titled EP via the local label New Morality Zine. This follows their self-released 2019 "Demo" EP and finds the group pushing the aggression and noise to the next level.

Doom Metal band Faces of the Bog recently emerged from their lengthy hiatus to release a single called "Weight". The track was recorded back in May of 2019 for the soundtrack of a yet to be released independent film called "Green Summer".

This is the work of Paul Bradfield (Bass), Danny Garcia (Drums/Percussion), Trey Wedgeworth (Guitars/Vocals), and Mark Cichra (Guitars/vocals). The last we had heard from the group was their 2016 debut album, Ego Death.

Long haired dudes from Hamilton. This power trio play serious rock n’ roll that ranges from glam rock to the blues. You can hear this on their debut single “Up Jumped The Devil” which features a harmonica intro, a KISS inspired party rockin’ verse, shredding interludes and a thrash solo. Crank it up! Towards the end of 2019 a quite-the-noisy record was released: Blase' Faire, the prog-rock album by Salem, New Hampshire group Strange Conversations touched down with its killer beats and swirling synth embellishments. The grandiose guitar solos that throwback to ‘80s hair glory found in tracks like “Stranglehold (Like Yesterday)” are thrilling and perfectly placed. From thunderous instrumental breakdowns to more serene-pensive tracks like “Better Late Than Never,” the band showcases its versatility and instrumental prowess. The new record has an old-school feel to it but a very modern edge sharpened by a solid production.
